Welcome to the new website

As we prepare to bid farewell to 2019, we also bid farewell to our old website. Over the last year, a lot has changed for the Autonomous Digital team, and with that we felt it was time to change up our look. We would like to welcome you to the new era for AD.

Goodbye, Beetham

That old picture of the Beetham Tower in Manchester: it was the cover photo for our old website. It had become synonymous with our brand. And yet, it was also representative of everything we didn’t want to be. Don’t get me wrong, we’re very proud of our roots in Manchester. But we don’t deal exclusively in this area – in fact, we have clients up and down the country. So it no longer made sense to be so Manchester-focused in our branding.

Out with the old website

When we decided to move away from this key focus of our branding, we took it as an opportunity. Whilst our old website offered a lot of information, we felt there was a lack of creativity in terms of its look and feel. It was good, but not good enough. It’s perhaps both a strength and a weakness that our biggest problem was spending so much of our focus on our clients that we weren’t giving enough attention to ourselves.

In with the new website

With this in mind, we decided to go down a cleaner, classier, but more creative look and feel. We wanted to move to a more immersive experience, with lots of space and as little clutter as possible. The entire colour pallette was overhauled and we walked away from the images of various areas of Manchester. We brought in a more user-oriented feel, with more interaction and less corporate talk, while still offering the same information.

The new era for AD

The exceptional services we offer, and our talented team of innovators remains unchanged. Our outlook and our relationships are still exactly the same. But we’re heading into the new year with a fresh, modern look. Something we can look at for years to come and be proud of – and we hope you like it too.
